Summer at Grace
Summer Morning Worship Schedule May 26 - September 1 8:00, 9:00, & 10:30 am worship times with a fellowship half hour in the Kensington Room at 10:00.
Summer Potluck and Outdoor Worship May 26—August 25, 5:00-7:00pm Weekly potluck and worship service at Denning Park (4903 S. Gilbert). We will make full use of all the park has to offer us beginning at 5:00pm, followed by a potluck dinner with grills available the last Sunday of the month. Each evening will end with a worship service at 6:15 pm.
Summer Office Hours: May 28 through August office hours are Monday—Thursday 9:00-4:00 and Friday 9:00-3:00.

Our Vision 2020 is to become a more vibrant, growing, thriving congregation committed to growing faithful disciples and deeply embedded in our community and in our world. Come join us!
Grace is welcoming neighbors and sharing God’s love every day. Nearly half of all members actively volunteer and reach out to others. Our presence is global and local, supporting needs in developing countries with funds, supplies and Fair Trade initiatives. We open our building to community organizations like Aging Care Connections. We support youth mission work and caring for refugees. We participate in Crop Hunger Walk and repair family homes through Metro Chicago’s Rebuilding Together. We are reaching out together every day.
The goal of the Reaching Out Together! fund appeal is to raise $2 million over the next three years.
Through this Grace will extend programs and resources, plus enhance our facility to become even more welcoming to all. We’ve received $1,310,800 in pledges already. We are on our way!
Employment Opportunity at Grace
Grace Lutheran Church seeks a passionate Director for our Preschool who believes in the incredible potential of preschoolers. The ideal candidate is growth-oriented, articulates a clear vision for Christian education, and most of all, inspires and engages 2, 3 and 4 year olds. The position, as posted, is part time, although compensation and the scope of the job will grow along with the school.
