Can you imagine 125 years of Grace?
April 14, 2012 marks 125 years of many faithful members, pastors and mission partners proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ through our congregation! Our faithful founders' work laid the foundation for our efforts now and into the future for many to experience God's amazing love and grace.
Grace's 125th Anniversary Committee has chosen the theme of "Remembering, Rejoicing, Reaching Out" to reflect what we'll do during the year leading up to and during the anniversary milestone year. A specially designed logo will mark our celebration and will be used on the website and in other Grace communications during the next two years.
We hope you'll be inspired to remember our rich history, rejoice in God's word and reach out to be the hearts, hands, feet and voice of Christ near and far. In the process, we will have lots of fun. Many special events and activities are planned for our celebration. Are you ready to join in celebrating during the next two years?
In Christ,
Pastor Said Ailabouni

In four weekly sessions this course will look at the central messianic promises in the Old Testament and how they shaped Jewish expectations of God’s deliverance. The New Testament and Christianity find these promises fulfilled in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Many of these promises are still to be fulfilled through the ministry of Christians or at the second coming of Jesus.

About The 125th Anniversary Logo
The 125th Anniversary Logo includes a cross within the globe, outstretched hands with an embedded peace dove, and Swedish heritage colors.
The components of the logo represent:
- Cross at the center of the globe reminds us of John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life" and in Ephesians 2:11-22, where Jesus is described as God's instrument to save and unite the whole world, "But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ...through the cross... So he came and proclaimed peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near" (Ephesians 2:13-17);
- Outstretched hands with the dove of peace, remind us God's work requires our hands (and feet, voice and heart). We are chosen ambassadors of peace and reconciliation (see Corinthians 5: 18-21);
- Colors of Swedish flag, reminding us of the Swedish immigrants who formed the congregation and gifted the church to people of all backgrounds. top of page
