Upcoming Events

September 13: College of DuPage Class - Mondays 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. thru Nov.1st. The class is Rome vs Barbarians which will cover the Republic to Empire to Barbarian Invasions. Rome spread Pax Romana throughout the world and faced threats from Goths, Huns, Vandals, and more. The cost for this 8-week class is $154 or $114 for those over 65. The class will be taught by Ron Carlson. To register for the class “HUMNT-0004-002” or for information call the college at 630-942-2208.

September 13: Hollywood Epic Series Returns - Monday, 1:15 p.m. "The Agony and the Ecstasy".

September 17: Retirees to Midewin National Tall Grass Prairie - Friday, 9:00 a.m.
We will leave the church at 9:00 a.m. by bus and travel to Midewin Prairie for a behind-the-scenes 2-hour bus tour of the prairie with stops along the way. We will travel to Al’s steak house in Joliet for lunch, and end our tour driving through the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. The cost for the trip is $50. We plan to return to
church by 4:30 p.m. Sign up on the OPUS information board today. Checks may be made out to Grace Lutheran Church of LaGrange with Retiree trip in the memo line.
