Groups
to join and support
Grace
Lutheran Church offers its members many opportunities to enjoy fellowship
with other members.
Youth Ministry
Our Mission: "To inspire our youth to grow in their faith, serve others, and share the Good News of Jesus Christ."
We are always looking for new leaders who would like to share their time and talents.
Altar Guild
Altar Guild works behind the scenes to get the altar prepared for worship. This includes setting up for and housekeeping up after communion as well as changing the paraments based on the season and general housekeeping responsibilities. Volunteers are assigned to 2 months in the year, so the time commitment is generally 2 week-ends per year.

Circles
The church women at Grace are organized into small (12-15 women) groups called “circles,” which further allow and equip women to do ministry projects, to grow spiritually,
and to study scripture. The monthly meeting times (usually
the third Thursday of each month) are arranged to meet the schedules and needs of mothers, employed women, retires
and others. top of page

Grace-ettes (women’s choir) directed by Janet Kings, meets on Tuesday mornings at 9:15 a.m. This lovely and talented group of ladies sings monthly in worship and visits local nursing homes once a month to provide a musical program and chat with the residents. Instrumental and vocal soloists and ensembles of all ages enhance worship on a regular basis, coordinated by Janet Kings. Strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, accompanists, singers and more are welcome.
Youth Music is now part of the Worship Skills segment of our Wednesday LOGOS Ministry. Youth in grades K-2 (Cherub Choir) will continue their winning tradition of fun musical learning, focusing on the seasons of the church year beginning in late September. They will be worship leaders regularly at 8:45 or 11:00 a.m. worship. Those in grades 3-6 explore worship leadership through a variety of means: drumming and percussion, handbells, singing, drama, and much more, led by Janet Kings and a team of volunteers. While you don’t have to register for LOGOS to participate in youth music, you’ll find that you do want to get in on all the LOGOS fun.

Prayer
Ministries
Grace Church has many prayer ministries that uplift members, friends, and other
ministries in prayer. There are persons who are part of an email prayer ministry. They
receive prayer requests over the internet in a timely manner. There are persons who pray
weekly in our chapel for those listed on our prayer sheet and for congregational
programs. There are members of our prayer shawl ministry who pray as they make the
shawls that are then given to those who are sick or in distress

YFG (Young Families of Grace)
YFG has been created in order to form a connectedness among parents of young children at Grace. The slogan of YFG is “Enjoy your Peers, Be Supported, Stay Rooted in Faith”. Raising children while nurturing your marriage and other relationships are tough tasks. With YFG, parents have a base of support and fellowship from a community of other Christian parents. Opportunities for fellowship are available through Sunday morning YFG “Mixers” occurring on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month during the 10:00 Sunday School hour. YFG also organizes Moms' and Dads' Nights Out, as well as Family Events that promote the spirit of giving in our community and togetherness as a church family. YFG's online connection with parents includes a Facebook page and a monthly E-Newsletter full of resources and events. Email YFG anytime at yfg@att.net. Please join in a Sunday morning YFG Mixer - you are always welcome into the YFG family. Click Here to Visit the YFG page.
