Whirly Ball - November 16
Attention youth 12 and up! We will be meeting here at Grace at 12:15 p.m., and returning at 4:30 p.m. We will be having pizza for lunch, cost is $20 per person. Reminder: if you sign up for Whirlyball, Kerrie needs to have the medical release/ permission form signed by your parents. Forms are in the church office, or you can call Kerrie 708-352-0730. High School - Sunday 10:00 Hour, November 16
Just a reminder to the 9th-12th grade youth, there is
something for you at the Sunday 10:00 hour. Join Kerrie Folisi in the Youth Room at 10:00 a.m. We will be talking about ways we can relate our faith to everyday school issues, as well as talking about some tough questions in our faith.

LOGOS - Wednesday, November 19
4:45 p.m.-7:15 p.m. A time for youth, grades 1 through 8
and adults to join together, nurturing their Christian faith in four elements; Recreation, Bible Study, Worship Skills and
a Family Style Meal.

Junior High Alive - Sunday, November 23
4:00 p.m. There will be no Jr. High alive Nov 16, because
of Whirlyball. We will have Jr. High Alive next Sunday November 23rd from 4:00 p.m. -5:30 p.m. We will be
making ornaments for the tree trimming evening here at Grace, as well as the Brookfield Zoo tree!

Brookfield Zoo Trip - Sunday December 7
Grace Youth will be going to Brookfield Zoo. We will be making special ornaments during LOGOS, and Jr. High
Alive this month. Those ornaments will be used to decorate
a Christmas tree that we have set up at the zoo. Mark your calendars for this fun time. More information to come!

Cookie Walk Fundraiser - Sunday December 14
8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. Last year’s fundraiser had many great
cookies! So mark it on your calendar, and get ready to make and bake some great tasty pastries. More info to come.

Boys Basket Ball Team
The Grace boys basketball team is in need of freshman and sophomore youth. The boys basketball team practices once a week starting Thursday, October 23 at Forest Road school. The team plays their games on Saturday nights through February, with playoffs in March. If you are at all interested

Summer Work Camp 2009
July 19-25, the high school youth will be going to Clare, Michigan for a challenge Work Camp filled with building, repairing, and painting. Work Camp is not only open to current high school students, it is also open to incoming
high school freshmen in fall of 2009, as well as college
youth up to age 20. If you are at all interested in next summer’s Work Camp contact Kerrie Folisi to receive

High School - Sunday 10:00 Hour

Junior High Alive
Sunday from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. 6th-8th grade students.
An afternoon of fun activities fellowship, and devotions. Every Sunday afternoon, except for the last Sunday of
every month. Friends are always welcome!

High School Fellowship
Wednesday nights, 7:15 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. 9th - 12th grade.
Singing, devotions, and sharing with one another is what high school fellowship is all about. God will do the work through you and for you. God lives in us and it is up to us to share his love with others. Join Pastor Said, Kerrie Folisi, and other youth leaders. Bring a Friend!

LOGOS
Wednesdays, 4:45 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
A time for youth, grades 1 through 8 and adults to join
together, nurturing their Christian faith in four elements;
Recreation, Bible Study, Worship Skills and A Family
Style Meal. The LOGOS Wednesday format allows us to
celebrate our relationships with our church family through
the model of Jesus Christ in a less formal setting. Save your Wednesdays! Be a part of LOGOS! Registration forms and
volunteer information is available in the Catherine Narthex,
or call the church office to speak with a member of your
LOGOS planning team!
